Si dice ci siano tre tipi di lacrime, di dolore, di gioia e il tipo più raro: di vulnerabilità e sollievo, quando alla fine si lascia andare. E rimane il corpo fragile, corpo cantiere, che si trasforma, stupefacente. Che si lascia attraversare dalla propria energia, qualsiasi essa sia e trova il coraggio di soccombere.
Domani si festeggia l'amore sacro e profano, devozione o cura verso creature o cose.
Ma io dedico Tundra a chi riesce a trovare il coraggio di soccombere alla propria creatività, di raccontare la propria poesia, di crescere la propria arte come si cresce un albero, sopra e sotto la terra. Nonostante la paura. Nutrire quello che ti fa volare.

I was honoured to be asked to be part of the project “Intervallo” by .tog about the lives of creative mothers.

I’m grateful I got to spend some hours at my place with her. She managed to capture glimpses of my life that, like many others, hops (sometimes relentlessly) between different tasks. Changing diapers and working on my next production, always trying to find mental space and actual time to accomplish my creative desires too. Always trying to find a balance between the two things that keep me alive: my daughter and my music.

Man-ha is a smart, slinky, and sensitive photographer and an amazing mother of a 3 yrs old. You can see more of her work on her IG page… go check 🧢
