The biggest misconception in aesthetics? That “more” creates a better result.
People get caught up in the number of units or how many syringes they need, when those numbers mean very little on their own. Beautiful aesthetics isn’t about chasing a number—it’s about understanding facial anatomy, balance, proportion, and knowing exactly where (and where not) to place product.
Sometimes that means adding.
Sometimes that means doing nothing.
And sometimes, it means dissolving old filler before adding anything new.
This beautiful patient is new to my chair. She had previously been overfilled and overtreated, so at her first visit our goal wasn’t to completely transform her—it was to bring softness and harmony back to her face with subtle tweaks and full-face Dysport while creating a plan for the future.
She already looks refreshed, balanced, and still completely like herself.
Our next step will be dissolving her older filler so we can restore even more natural structure and create an even softer, more feminine result.
Ironically, she’ll likely look younger with less filler than she does now.
The best aesthetic work is the kind no one notices. They just think you look well-rested, healthy, and effortlessly beautiful.
That’s the art.

Teaching isn’t just about showing someone where to inject—it’s about building the knowledge, confidence, and clinical judgment that create safe, beautiful, and natural results.
This was from one of my private trainings. We spent 2 hours treating our model with a full-face Dysport facial balancing approach. Three weeks later, these are her results.
