Salvatore Marotta

The Director:
Born and raised in Hollywood Florida, Salvatore has been the creative director in his own marketing and advertising companies since 1998. His company expanded into video in early 2008 where he started producing, writing and directing TV commercials. In 2016 Sal decided that he wanted to have a more hands on experience when it came to video production. This lead him to outfitting his studio with professional cinema grade cameras and most everything else that goes into video production. He also outfitted his studio with the latest hardware and software for audio and video editing. This expansion gave him more flexibility, control and confidence in what his group had to offer. This opened the door to gaining clients such as Starbucks, The City of Pompano Beach and and other higher profile clients. After being behind the camera for four years, and with COVID hitting the country in 2020, Salvatore thought it would be a great time to film one of the scripts he had written. Which brings us to our present day.

The Writer:
Salvatore has been writing fictional scripts since 2015. In this time he has written 5 feature film length scripts. He has also written over two dozen treatments ranging from feature films to 9 other Matched Episodes. Sal is an accomplished musician with over 200 original songs that he has written and recorded. Sal plays many instruments such as, guitar, bass, drums, keys and he sings. In the Matched film, he and his son wrote and recorded about 40% of the score. All of the songs in the movie with the exception of one, was written and performed by Sal.
