AICE EXAMS - UPDATE - GOING DIGITAL

Over the next few years, Cambridge International is updating its tests to be administered in a digital format. CLASS OF 2027 - SENIOR PHOTOS WITH CADY

Attached is the official brochure from CADY studios for the Class of 2027 Senior photo sessions, along with some important information. Please make sure to view their website for sitting fee details - https://home.cady.com/seniors-book/

- You MUST have your portrait taken by CADY to be in the yearbook.
- Make sure you book your appointment and sit for the session no later than October - each school will have its own deadline.
- The least expensive sitting fee is $29 (Simple Session). This will be for the yearbook photo, cap & gown & one alternate scene. The fee paid for your session covers ONLY the cost of your photo shoot & doesn't apply toward the purchase of photos.
- Although they promote "get a free scene if you book between June 1-30", unless you are buying photos, this means nothing.

MADE A MISTAKE/NEED TO DOWNGRADE?
- Any credit from a downgrade can only be used toward Senior Images (Yearbook & Casual)
- Credit cannot be used toward other product lines such as Cap & Gown, Graduation, Grand Finale, or any other photography options.
- No Refunds will be processed for any unused credits

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
- A student can cancel their session up to 7 days before their session date & receive a full refund for the session fee. If a student cancels their session within 1 week of their session date, they will receive an account credit for the session fee. If the student does not attend their session during the scheduled time, they will not receive a refund for the session fee but an account credit.

COST FOR PHOTOS: See images
- After the session, you will be sent a portfolio. If the portfolio is not returned by the end of the 60-day deadline, the card on file will be charged the full retail value of the portfolio. ($200 plus tax & shipping)
- Cap & Gown photos will be taken at the session but will NOT be made available for purchase until early Spring. Don't worry, you will have another option after graduation from the company who will be taking photos of your kid AT graduation (Grad Images - https://www.gradimages.com/)

SDPBC SCHOOL LUNCHES 2026-2027 - UPDATE

There are changes to the school lunches for the upcoming school year. Meal costs will vary at all School District-operated schools.

SOME schools will no longer be providing FREE breakfast and lunches for ALL students. Families should submit an application for Free and Reduced-price Meals starting in mid-July 2026. Meal benefits are determined based on income and family size.

University of Florida has just announced it is expanding admissions opportunities for future students.

Beginning with the Fall 2027 entering class, domestic first-year applicants will be able to apply to UF through a new binding Early Decision admissions plan. Applications open August 1.
