In our own respective paths, but real recognizes real. A little pose down with my friend .gainz after my weekly upper body workout last night.

Sitting at 244-246lbs comfortably, keeping size and getting leaner. Climbed 72 floors for time on Monday with exercises in between each set of 6. Climbed 39 floors in full bunker gear on Tuesday, with exercises in between sets as well. Ran 5 miles on Wednesday in 44mins, did “Murph” yesterday morning.

Grateful for the opportunity to become athletic all around. Today’s leg day pump sesh will be epic alongside .dpt

My beautiful girl and my partner in all respects. A lifetime seems like way too short of an amount of time to mindfully cherish all aspects of life with each other. But that won’t stop us from trying!

A variation of the 3/4 back pose. My gym is under construction, so I’m getting it in wherever I can. 😂
I may be doing more than strictly bodybuilding, but I still love the human body’s art!.

Throwback to squatting 230kg/507lbs for 5reps, high bar, with dad shoes, and no sleeves. What was I thinking? 🤔
The things you do to try and keep up with 2 legends in strength. Look at the tomato face… 😂
These two guys are awesome and I look up to them for being warriors. 👊🏻

Throughout my time training I’ve developed so much more internally than I have externally. I find it that life teaches us lessons by closing certain doors, and by opening others.

We should always listen to our bodies and aim to understand what it is they need to be ready for optimal performance. We should learn to fuel them with adequate nutrients, and have freedom to indulge here in there within reason.

Happily becoming more of an all around athlete, while sitting strong at 236lbs fasted.

All this extra conditioning work has me getting🔪💪🏼
Woke up today at 243lbs! 👌🏼.
Training is currently:.
-Strength-
Monday: Legs
Tuesday: Upper Push
Wednesday: Upper Pull.
Friday: Lower + (Conditioning)
Saturday: Upper + (Conditioning).
Sunday: Yoga (Every other week)

has really added to my knowledge of nutrition.

Two of my favorite poses in bodybuilding. I really enjoy the way my physique flowed in these two last weekend.
Training is engrained in the fabric of who I am. Whether I compete again or not one day, my purpose is to reach old age looking relatively similar. I have that clear in my vision of the future!.

Someone commented on my “dad” shoes the other day. I really like these ASICS]. I believe these are the Senior Citizen 2.0 specials, 🤣 if any of you are interested of course!
You can always find me wearing a pair of beat to s**t or equally wrecked ASICS].

Among being a trainer and coach, a small business owner, graduating a 6 month fire academy, pursuing my degree as a full time student, and building the most important aspect of my life, my family unit, I’ve been a consistent bodybuilder.
Bodybuilding is a very large part of me. But, when it’s all said and done, it’s really just about checking boxes while going about your life. .
My schedule has tested my commitment to improvement, yet regardless of the days tasks, I ate my 6-7 meals, trained my ass off, and I made time to sleep. Let it be known .dpt has willingly been my rock throughout it all, and believed in me to no end!

I’ve made great improvements and continue to do so on the best off-season I’ve had so far. I’m thankful for all the knowledge has added to my journey since the turn of the year, and together we’re going to bring something special to the stage at some point, when the time is right!

This sport can get old for some people, particularly those who take it on for the glamour!☝🏼
But for those of us who do this because we’d be there even if it weren’t a sport, because we battle in our heads daily and iron puts things back into perspective, because we seek to mold ourselves into our best self internally through the external toll and structure we endure, for those people, none of what we do gets old..
There’s a lot of sacrifice and effort required sure, but the process builds tremendous resilience, and some of the nicest people I know are bodybuilders.

There’s still lots of work to be done, but this work is part of my character!
