WHAT A WEEK LAST WEEK!
I was a little worried about how the week would go since had to cancel Tuesday due to an unexpected illness. But OH MY did you show up for music this week! I could not stop smiling because of all the joy you and your families brought me when we make music together. Thursday we had another awesome session with club. Friday we had our monthly Little Lullabies class with a precious group of babies (gosh, I love this class!). Then on to our Rhythm & Rhyme music and movement with some familiar faces as well as some new ones. This class always leaves me feeling energized! Friday night we had our monthly Sip & Strum and I got to share some of my favorite songs with some of my favorite women (do NOT sleep on this class next month. SO FUN!). And finally we ended with a Saturday edition of Rhythm & Rhyme with some of the most precious families at Studio Bloom.
I am SO energized from last week. So let’s do it again this week!

HELLOOOOOO SUMMER! ☀️
After a two week hiatus getting ready for summer classes, carting my kids to swim team, and traveling around England, I am back and SO READY to do music with YOU.
This is a SUPER busy week this week, so make sure to read the whole schedule. We have classes for babies, toddlers, big kids, and even a few for adults! And if you haven’t yet registered for your favorite music class make sure to do it early! It helps me with planning.

No classes again this week, but we are ON next week.
It’s helpful for you to preschedule Rhythm & Rhyme and Little Lullabies. But it is ESPECIALLY important for you to register for special classes this week: Rhythm Recess, Uke & Me, Uke Jam, Piano Jam. That way I know I have enough to run the classes. If you’re wondering about any of these classes please reach out OR check out rhythmrootsmusicstudio.com
Also, don’t forget about the Sing & Play Summer Music Pass. The BEST way to do summer with Rhythm Roots. Unlimited music classes for EVERYONE in your house, June through August.

🎶I have updated some days and times and have added Uke Jam, Piano Jam, and Uke & Me to our schedule
🎶 Family pricing this summer! One price for all drop-in classes, 4 class bundles, and even for our Sing & Play summer music pass
🎶Our usual Tuesday and Friday classes at Party Barn and Studio Bloom are remaining unchanged for the summer (except for a few skipped dates due to travel) and we will continue Sip & Strum and Little Lullabies (infant class)
🎶I have added a few new classes including Rhythm Recess (a summer series that teaches classic playground games to elementary aged kids)

We have grown as a community of musicians as well as a community in friendship and it is just so incredibly special. Happy, happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers and mother figures in this community. We are so glad you are here and you are doing such an amazing job raising your precious little humans!
Last week we began our Rumble in the Jungle 🦁 theme and it was SUCH a hit. Your little ones we so engaged in active music making and were testing my improvisation skills in the best kind of way. I cannot wait to continue the music fun this week.

The only reason I get to bring music to you and your family is because of you. You keep signing up, you keep coming back, you keep inspiring me to find new ways for our community to experience music 🎶
I have some ideas for this summer that I cannot wait to share with you like:
🎶Uke & Me, a parent centered ukulele class that involves babies and toddlers with their parents’ learning process
🎶Piano Jam OR Ukulele Jam, group classes to help build instrumental skills for our elementary aged kiddos as either a supplement to beginning lessons or as a stand alone experience
AND
🎶Rhythm Recess, a summer series where elementary aged kids will experience some analog fun using hand clapping games, jump rope rhymes, and cup songs
But, I need to make sure that I’m scheduling these classes when folks can make it AND that the right people know I’m offering them.

I am so pleased to share our schedule for ☀️Hello Summer 2026☀️!
This schedule features not only our usual Rhythm & Rhyme, Little Lullabies, and Sip & Strum classes, but will also feature some exciting new offerings such as:
🎶Uke & Me, a parent centered ukulele class (helped along by their little)
🎶Piano OR Ukulele Jam which are group classes to help build instrumental skills for our elementary aged kiddos
🎶Rhythm Recess, a summer series where elementary aged kids will experience some analog fun using hand clapping games, jump rope rhymes, and cup songs
❗Not all of these special classes haven’t been scheduled quite yet because I need input from YOU! If you are interested in Uke & Me or Piano/Ukulele Jam, please fill out the surveys in the link in bio so I can make sure to offer them at a time that works for the most people.
Pricing is flexible including options for drop in classes, class bundles, and our summer Sing & Play pass which offers unlimited classes all summer long.
