0-50 (Good): Safe for all activities.
51-100 (Moderate): Generally acceptable; monitor for any signs of distress.
101-150 (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups): Horses with respiratory issues should avoid strenuous exercise.
151-200 (Unhealthy): All horses should refrain from outdoor exercise.
201-300 (Very Unhealthy): Avoid all outdoor activities.
301-500 (Hazardous): Complete avoidance of outdoor exercise is necessary

We would like to express our most heartfelt condolences to Barbara Gentry on the passing of her beloved horse Chief. Barb has been apart of our barn family for 12 years ❤️ seeing her and Chief around the barn has always been a joy and he will be greatly missed. Losing an equine friend and partner is never easy. We love you Barb!

Our senior horses have carried us through so many seasons of life — teaching us patience, trust, and connection every step of the way. As they age, their needs change, and they deserve care that honors everything they’ve given us.

That’s why I’m hosting the Senior Horse Wellness & Gentle Biomechanics Clinic. This calm, supportive half‑day clinic focuses on helping older horses move comfortably and confidently through thoughtful groundwork, gentle polework, and simple exercises you can continue at home. We’ll talk about what aging horses need, how to support their bodies with kindness, and how small adjustments can make a big difference in their comfort and longevity.

If you have a senior partner who deserves a little extra love and support, I’d be honored to have you join us. Riders and horse owners of all experience levels are welcome — this clinic is truly for anyone who wants to give back to the horse who has given them so much.
