Moreland Ridge Middle School

This year our MRMS National Junior Honor Society was honored with the 2026 Cordelia Drumm Special Achievement Award for their commitment to helping kids at Drumm Farm Center for Children. Since 2022, members of NJHS have raised more than $20,000 and collected over 2,000 necessities for the youth in Drumm’s HOME, COMPASS, and Street Outreach programs. Executive Assistant at Drumm Farm, Bridgit Ingersoll presented the award and shared, “You may not always see the impact of your efforts, but I can tell you—it is real, and it matters.”

Today our 6th graders had the amazing opportunity to learn about how the government in Blue Springs works. Thank you Mayor Lievsay and Council members Mr. Rowan and Mr. Brummel for spending the day with us!

Thank you Matt and Screecher from Wild Souls Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation for coming to visit our students and educate us about coexisting with native wildlife. We will be supporting Wild Souls with proceeds from our Dodgeball Tournament on March 13.
