North Georgia’s biggest celebration begins Friday, October 8th with the Apple Festival Parade at 6PM in downtown Ellijay. The festival itself will be held October 9th-10th & 16th-17th at the Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds!

This is one of those epic events you don’t want to miss!!!

The Trailblaze Challenge is more than a hike. It is more than a fundraising event. .ga is a life-changing endurance experience that will challenge participants both physically and emotionally, but ultimately will help Georgia grant wishes to Georgia wish kids battling their critical illness.

Our hikers will conquer 22 miles in 1 incredible day along the beautiful Bartram Trail in Clayton, GA. This scenic trek provides participants an opportunity for adventure, fun and fitness, while making a direct and lasting impact on the lives of the Georgia wish kids we serve. This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels of hiking, from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts!

Our goal is to bring people together to build a community around families who are faced with the harsh realities of their child’s life-threatening illness. When you take your first step on your journey as a Trailblazer, you are paving the way for a brighter tomorrow for children right here in your community!
