Feed and Read Fannin Summer Books were just delivered to the elementary schools for the fourth year!! This week, 320 Snack in a Backpack children are going home with a new book to read over the summer break. Nearly 1,200 total books have been donated to our children since 2020. Cayley Hamilton is one of our 2024 Champions for Children, and she works hard throughout the year to secure these book donations from all over the country. Thank you, Cayley!

Two years ago, Cayley Hamilton, a Fannin County teacher at West Fannin Elementary School and wife of attorney, Jay Hamilton, created a non-profit organization called "Feed and Read Fannin." Supported by the "Snack in a Backpack" program in Fannin County schools, Feed and Read Fannin has provided over 500 books to students . Cayley's passion for teaching and advancing the literary lives of students inspired her to start the program. Wilson Hamilton eagerly supports "Feed and Read Fannin" and is tremendously proud of Cayley's heart for students in our community.
