4 lbs 1 oz pure Steward YLH. I dont usually name my roosters but this one I did. His heart weighs about 3 lbs I do believe. I can only imagine the fun GC Steward had with these decades ago. He and his nestmate brothers make the waiting and effort well worth it. Nothing worse then wasting time on average fowl. Many Thanks to my bud Mic in Texas for the privilege to own these little demons!!!

Stag that was produced by a Roger Roberts Chet c**k over a Pocas Plumas Chet hen. I have had that hen for years but never single mated her but finally did last year. I also crossed her on my YLH c**k. Everything she hatched was near perfect. She will be single mated from now on.

Steward YLH brood c**k. Very proven and now retired without a scratch. Because of this one bird there will be a lot more yellow legs on the end of my tie cord in the future.

Gavilan Club Hatch. They have a chest like a bull. He was produced from a single mated hen. Making some more of these now. Unless I have sisters in a brood pen, I have decided single mating is the only way to keep the traits in your fowl you desire. In other words , if you ain't keeping score you are just practicing. When you single mate,you are keeping score!!!
