For 37 years, the Quinn family — alongside dedicated partners — has operated agricultural businesses in this community. Melissa Feeders and WES Arena represent that legacy: two companies deeply rooted in the land, in cattle, and in the values that define this industry.

Agriculture is not a glamorous life. It demands long hours, hard work, and a great deal of faith - faith in the land, faith in the seasons, and faith in something greater than yourself. But those who are called to it understand that it is built on purpose. It is built on character. And it is built on the kind of people who show up every single day, not for recognition, but because it is simply who they are.

This year holds special meaning for our family, because for the first time, these scholarships will be awarded in the name of Becky Quinn.

Becky passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. While she may not have worked the land directly, she embodied everything that agriculture represents. She was hardworking. She was devoted to her family. She was rooted in faith and led her life in quiet, steady service to others. She gave generously — of her time, her heart, and herself — without ever asking for anything in return.

The Becky Quinn Memorial Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited university, college, or trade school; have maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher; have been active in FA or 4-H, and are pursuing a career in an agricultural or related field.
