Congratulations to the North Penn High School Class of 2026!

Today is the result of years of hard work, perseverance, friendship, and growth. From elementary school memories to senior year milestones, each moment has helped shape who you are today.

Your community is proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see where your journey takes you next. To the parents, families, teachers, administrators, and friends who supported these graduates along the way, this achievement belongs to you as well.

“Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places!” — Dr. Seuss

Congratulations, graduates!

Today we recognize Loving Day, commemorating the landmark 1967 Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia, which struck down laws banning in*******al marriage in the United States.

The Loving family’s courage helped affirm one of our nation’s most fundamental principles: that love, dignity, and equality belong to everyone.

Today we celebrate the progress made toward equality and honor all couples whose love and commitment helped move our country forward.

The equine industry is currently facing challenges with infectious diseases and traceability. Many horses sold through PA auctions have falsified documents, leading to increased biosecurity and traceability risks. My legislation that recently passed the Ag Committee would enhance traceability in equine sales by ensuring that records follow animals through sale and distribution channels, supporting consumer confidence, responsible industry practices, and a more transparent equine marketplace.

Did you know students can learn where their food comes from through the Adopt a Cow Program? This free educational program connects classrooms with a real calf from a working dairy farm and teaches students about agriculture, animal care, and the dairy industry.

June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, a time to focus on protecting and supporting long-term brain health.
There are simple steps we can all take to help reduce the risk of cognitive decline:
• Stay physically active
• Prioritize quality sleep
• Control blood pressure
• Eat a healthy, balanced diet
• Challenge your mind by learning something new

As Ted Lasso said, “Be curious.” Keeping your brain engaged and active is an important part of healthy aging.

“We were all kids between the ages of 17 and 24… the horizon just erupted... We were trained to do something, and we knew that if every man did his job, then everything was going to be okay.” — John T. Siewert

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day invasion, when thousands of brave Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II.

We honor the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and service of those who fought to defend freedom. Their legacy continues to inspire generations, and we remember them not only today, but every day.

June is Men’s Health Month. Research shows that men are often less likely to seek care for their physical and mental health, and it’s time we help break that stigma.

Men experience higher rates of su***de, sudden cardiac death, and several forms of cancer. Taking care of your health is not a weakness, it is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your loved ones.

Men, please make the time to schedule your checkups, talk openly about your mental health, and prioritize your well-being. Your health matters!
