Lisa Zelvy, Director of Public Services from our Sycamore community, and Jenn Necker, Area Director for neighborhood bridges Buckeye Valley, recently presented at the Plain City Success Conference.

Together, they shared how neighborhood bridges brings communities together to remove barriers for students and families, creating a network of kindness that helps children succeed in school and life.

We received a beautiful note from a UC Blue Ash student who is grateful for the month's rent we paid to keep her on track with personal expenses and career goals. It highlights the significant role our advocates play in recognizing needs and determining the most impactful ways to help. The humility that grows in these trusting relationships gives us the opportunity to spread kindness when and where it is needed most.

Today’s kindness delivery takes us to our Kindness Council partner Sycamore Presbyterian Church - Cincinnati, Ohio! They are stocking summer boxes full of delicious food for our most vulnerable Symmes Elementary families. We are offsetting their costs with these shelf staple items👇🏻 AND a financial donation thanks to the Symmes Elementary PTO. It truly takes a village to raise responsible and healthy humans and our village never lets us down.

A heartfelt thank you to our Kindness Council member Mental Matters Mission for answering our request to fund trauma therapy for a Sycamore student throughout the summer. Without insurance coverage for such treatment, the costs can add up quickly. Offsetting this burden gives peace of mind knowing our student is one step closer to beginning the 26/27 school year in a healthy state of mind. We are so grateful to Mental Matters Mission for their relentless support in funding youth mental healthcare.

It's Friday and National Donut Day.

Today’s kindness delivery takes us to UC Blue Ash! We were asked to help fill their personal care pantry with essential items and thanks to our corporate grant, we were able to purchase everything off their wish list! We are so grateful for our community partnerships that allow us to impact the greater Sycamore community.
