As we open for our second full week at the Coffeehouse, we find ourselves reflecting on just how grateful we are. ☕️❤️

To our new team, who jumped into something brand new with patience, flexibility, and an incredible willingness to learn—thank you. Building a new space, new systems, and new routines from the ground up isn’t easy, and we’re so proud of the way you’ve embraced it.

And to everyone who has walked through our doors—thank you. We’ve seen familiar faces from our pop-up days, longtime Bakehouse regulars, neighbors from Mt. Washington, and plenty of new friends discovering us for the first time. All of which has been pretty special.

The Coffeehouse has always been about more than coffee and pastries. It’s about creating a place where people feel welcome, where conversations happen, where routines are formed, and where a historic building can once again be part of everyday life in the neighborhood.

We’re still learning. We’re still growing. We’re still finding our rhythm.

Thank you for showing up, for being patient with us, for cheering us on, and for allowing us to be a small part of your day.

Important PARKING info for the Coffeehouse!

First off — we’ve been absolutely blown away by the support y’all have shown the new space. Thank you. Truly.

BUT, as we settle into the neighborhood, it’s really important to us that we respect all of the wonderful small businesses around us as well as complying with the wonderful property owners around the Coffeehouse.

So the Parking situation is as follows:

-areas marked red on the map is safe parking lots and spaces
-Roads along Plymouth Ave, Oxford Ave, safe parking
-the public lot between Tom Roth Place and Corbly Road, safe parking

There are 3 spots directly in front of our shop, and 4 spots directly adjacent to our back patio area that is safe as well.

The lot directly behind the shop on Eppert Walk is unfortunately not available for our customer parking.

We’d really appreciate your help and cooperation with this so we can continue being a great addition to the Mt. Washington community.

Coffeehouse update, fam ☕️🥐

As excited as we are to reopening this week after Memorial Day weekend, we’ve made the decision to take this whole week ahead of us to make some immediate and important adjustments following an incredibly busy—and honestly very challenging—first few days of Coffeehouse operations.

As a new business still in its infancy stages, we believe it’s far more important to press pause and make the corrections and adjustments early on now, rather than trying to figure things out while actively operating - creating unnecessary stress for us, our team, our guests, and the overall customer experience.

Our goal for the Coffeehouse is to create a thoughtful, quality focused coffee-pastry and hospitality experience—one that you deserve and one we’re genuinely proud to exhibit every single day.

This short reset will allow us to refine new systems, improve workflow, and rollout our new Coffeehouse the right way.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone’s patience, support, and understanding during this time as we take these steps. The love and excitement around this space has meant the world to us.

The plan is to reopen the first week of June. Believe us, we’re just as eager to open these doors again as you are. Updates during this upcoming week will come.
