Two sweet little custom order friends are making their way out of the studio today! ✨

A cuddly little penguin and the sweetest pink koala, both made with lots of love for two special little ones.

There’s something extra special about creating a handmade friend that’s going to become part of a child’s story. 🥰 Knowing these little guys are headed off to be loved, cuddled, and taken on their own little adventures makes my heart so happy.

Every new chapter needs a name… sooo please meet Sewphia Grace. 💛🪡

Yes… I named my new sewing machine. 😂 And somehow, it just felt right.

Sewphia Grace is officially joining ASWS Fiber Studio, bringing a whole new way to create, learn, and tell stories through fiber and fabric.

And before anyone worries… the crochet hooks and knitting needles are definitely NOT going anywhere! They’re still very much a part of the story. This is just one more creative hobby to add to the mix… because apparently I needed another reason to fill my studio with craft supplies. 😂

I can already hear my husband’s voice asking, “Now where are all these craft supplies going to go in your studio space?” 😂❤️

I’m stepping into something completely new, and I already know there will be plenty of learning, probably some frustration, and definitely some “what in the world am I doing?” moments. 😂

But that’s the beautiful thing about creating.

You don’t have to know exactly where the story is going when you begin.

You just have to make the first stitch. 🧵✨

This week’s hue feels like a cozy little moment by the fire—warm, soft, and sprinkled with just the right amount of golden goodness. Say hello to 'Golden Hearth!' 🤎✨

A beautiful blend of creamy oatmeal, warm caramel, and golden flecks that feels like wrapping yourself up in your favorite cozy blanket.

And the candle?! 🕯️😍 This 'Fallin’ for Flapjacks' candle came from Sixtyone20 Candles, who were vendors at the market this past weekend.

Their candles are INCREDIBLE—beautiful, cozy, and smell absolutely amazing! I’m so happy I got to discover another small business and bring a little piece of their goodness home with me.

Here’s to new hues, cozy creations, new small-business finds & friends, and all the little moments that make creating so special. 🥰🧶✨

What a gorgeous day to take a little bit of stitching outside! 💗🌿

These two little custom-order friends are heading outdoors with me today so I can get them finished up! 🥰 There’s just something about fresh air, sunshine, and a little crochet time that makes creating even more special.

A few more stitches, a few finishing touches, and these two will be ready to head to their new home! 💕

Little highlights, sweet connections & memories from market day...

Every market has its own little story. Some moments are expected, some are completely unexpected, and some leave your heart just a little fuller than when you arrived. This market was definitely one of those. 🥹💕

✨ I met some truly wonderful vendors who made market day so much fun—and somehow, in just a short time, turned into friends. We’re already planning craft nights, and I’m so grateful for the genuine connections that came from simply sharing a space and doing something we love. 💕 Be sure to check them out: Beads & Banter and Sam's Shelf. And as an extra-special surprise, I was gifted an absolutely beautiful piece of jewelry. It meant more to me than I can put into words. 🥹💕

✨ I met a fellow crocheter who was selling her beautiful handmade items. She doesn’t have an online presence, but she was one of the kindest and most generous people I met all weekend. She came over and gifted me some of her creations simply as a thank-you for being kind and sweet. That gesture touched my heart so much. 🥰 Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness mean the very most.

✨ I reconnected with someone I went to high school with—someone I hadn’t seen since! We caught up, discovered some surprisingly similar life stories and hardships, and found a really special connection in our conversation. We’re already planning a lunch, and I’m so thankful a market brought us back into each other’s lives. ❤️

✨ I met Becky, who was there sharing her daughter’s wonderful spices! 🌶️ She was absolutely amazing and made the market even more fun. Be sure to follow Flavor Imperium and check out what they’re creating. Becky, thank you for being YOU! 🥰

✨ And, of course, I got to see friends and family who stopped by to say hello and support the studio. There truly aren’t enough words to express how much that means to me. Every visit, every hug, every “hi,” and every bit of encouragement is felt and appreciated more than you know. 💕

Every market seems to have its own feel—its own highs, its own little challenges, and its own unexpected moments. I’m learning that the very best part though... is...

The people. The laughter. The kindness. The unexpected connections. The friendships that begin. The old ones that find their way back. And all the little moments in between. 🧶💕

Those are the moments I want to remember.

And those are the moments that make this little studio so much more than just yarn and handmade things. ❤️🧡💛
