We’ve had a whole lot more luck with our chickens and flowers this spring than we have had with our rabbits lately. This will be the first year that we don’t have any junior Netherland Dwarf for the county fair.

Our Sable Points Holland Lops that we purchased at convention in the fall of 2025 have become parents to four healthy kits. They were born on Tuesday, April 7. We also had our youngest Dwarf Hotot doe and a buck raised by Mann Acres I bought in the Dwarf Hotot auction at Convention become parents to three healthy, banded kits on that same day. A third doe had a stillborn singleton the next day. Our other does due at that time did not take — we will try again.
This is Friend. He was born November 2. He was one of six bucks and one doe in a litter of Arni a black tort buck and Myrtle a black otter doe. It was the first litter for both.

My kids will be at the 4-H Teen Leadership Weekend but this would be a great event for 4-Hers to learn about showing rabbits. I wish I could attend just to soak up knowledge.
