TODAY it is apparently the 40th Anniversary of Culture Shock in IU's Dunn Meadow, a place with a lively history. Somehow we were granted access to the 11am slot in 1995 which was apparently the 9th year. Here is one song we played, POSTER LIFE by mr.Richard Dole with Janell Cox singing lead in what was probably our first original song for a solo female singer!

Calling all Super Sleuths ....Who can find the authentic facts for when IU sports corp started marketing the red and white striped paraphanelia? Of Course, specifically THE PANTS? Of course we eventually found out the IU basketball team wore them as warm-up pants in our time there, but we don't believe they were sold in our ~92-99 period. Thank you super sleuths ❤️

How many FRAT parties did Flattus play? Well at least enough to fund a CD, back when it was expensive to make an actual CD. Acacia on 3rd Street appears to have been kicked off campus now, but here it is in 1995. One of the pieces of evidence that we actually had 5 pairs of WILSON pants.

After Brian wore the red and white striped shorts in 93, we seemed to favor long underwear and bathrobes or shorts in 94. Then, in June of 95 we were gifted some "Potsdam Pooper" pants from a junior college in New York, or something like that...basically.

These rare statues of clueless musicians were soon torn down to make room for other limestone carvings. While it may seem now in retrospect that we were showing great school spirit, at least half of us had no idea these pants matched the school's colors.....
