Three finalist teams presented their ideas to a panel of judges at the University of Chicago Impact Competition—and the results were impressive. Judges were blown away by the students’ professionalism and thoughtfulness.
 
Each team delivered unique, detailed, and well-developed solutions tailored to the client’s needs. This year’s nonprofit partner, Fuel Movement Community Center in North Lawndale, Chicago, strengthens families, addresses food insecurity, and creates opportunities through various programming (learn more at https://www.fuelmovementcenter.org)
 
Fuel Movement Executive Director, Darrell Glover, shared how inspired he was by the students’ ideas. While one team stood out with a winning implementation plan, all of the students presented innovative, meaningful solutions that will truly help Fuel Movement continue to build a stronger community.

We’ve just launched our first-ever national Impact Competition, where we will be partnering with Blessings in a Backpack, a national non-profit, to offer enrolled college students the chance to pitch an idea with two teammates and win a cash prize, and potentially bring that idea to life on their own college campus.
