Last week's tornadoes reminded me that homeownership can throw some unexpected challenges your way. 🌪

While my family and I were out of town, our home sustained damage from the storm. My first thought was, "How am I going to manage all of this from hundreds of miles away?"

Thankfully, one of the biggest advantages of being a Realtor is the network I've built over the years. By Wednesday morning, I had a crew removing the tree from our house. From there, I coordinated with contractors for roofing, gutters, siding, drywall, painting, and more. This week I met with the insurance adjuster and now we're focused on getting everything back to normal.

The experience was a good reminder that real estate isn't just about buying and selling homes... it's about helping people take care of them too. 🏡

My buyer was looking for the perfect home for himself, his three children, and all of his fishing gear, and that perfect house hit the market over the weekend. 🎣🏡

The moment we knew this was the one, I went to work to make sure we put together the strongest offer possible. Because of the home and the list price, I knew we’d be competing against multiple offers.

I reached out to the listing agent to learn what mattered most to the sellers, because it’s not always just about price. After discussing strategy with my buyer, we put together what I felt were the strongest terms and offer to get the deal done, and he trusted the process.

There were four other offers, all over list price, including one that was $5,000 higher than ours. But because of our terms and strategy, we were the winning offer. 🔑

It’s been an an incredible couple of days. Listings started on Thursday at noon for this beautiful home on the 11th hole at Ironwood Golf Course. The house was sold with multiple offers in just over 24 hours. Then Saturday I had the opportunity to play a round of golf at Ironwood golf course with these four friends of mine. A little over 24 hours after we went under contract I happen to hit two perfect golf shots on hole number 11. These two perfect shots resulted in a 2 on a par 5, better known as an albatross. This is my first and most likely my last albatross. By far one of the hardest things to achieve in the game of golf.

So special to watch him play, soak in the atmosphere, and just enjoy being out on the Augusta course. Truly one of those experiences that doesn’t feel real until you’re in it.
