This sweet boy was found , hit by a car and needs additional medical treatment, possibly surgery for a fractured pelvis.
He’s about a year old and intact.
He is very friendly.

🐾 Hi Everyone! My Name is K-9 Luna! 🐾

I’m the newest member of the Bloomfield Police Department, and I’m excited to introduce myself to the community! 💙

I am a Facility Service Dog, which means I help provide comfort, support, and companionship to community members, visitors, and department staff. You may see me around the police department, at community events, in schools, or out and about with my handler.

A few fun facts about me:
🐶 My favorite thing in the whole world is FOOD! If it’s snack time, I’m ready.
🧸 I love toys, especially the ones that squeak!
❤️ I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
🐾 I’m always happy to help brighten someone’s day with a wagging tail and a friendly smile.

While I love attention, there may be times when I’m working and need to stay focused. If you see me out in the community, be sure to ask my handler before coming over to say hello.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and become a familiar face (and wagging tail!) throughout Bloomfield!

This little guy went on an adventure Monday night and has not returned home. His family is very worried and hoping maybe someone found him for safekeeping and doesn’t know where his home is. If you’ve seen him or have him, please call the number on the flyer immediately to help get him back home to his family.!

Thanks to a good Samaritan that found him yesterday on Windsor Avenue and brought him to the Windsor police. We want to thank them for for getting Cody safe and for the Windsor police for keeping him safe, plus our CTDGR volunteer Donna for her Assistance and Support!

This little old guy got scared last night when he heard fireworks and took off running. He could be in the Hartford area around Main St the way we took off!
