Half of our 2026 VBS missions money ($1,500.00) is going to a local non-profit, Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Our missions money will help provide beds for children who do not have their own bed. During the recent fires, 29 homes in Brantley County were damaged or destroyed and we will help provide beds for children in those families. What a blessing that we can support these families.

Also, our goal was to help fill the need of 100 pillows. We are just a few short but this is yet another way we are helping others.

A representative from Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be at our church on Wednesday evening to pick up the pillows and receive our missions donation.

Sarah has faithfully served BES for the past nine years as a paraprofessional, and we are thrilled to see her step into the classroom as a teacher. Her dedication to students, commitment to learning, and heart for serving others have always been evident, and we know she will be an incredible asset to our Special Education team.
