Saturday May 31st our grand daughter Savannah Baldwin and her fiancé Max took a significant step towards their future together, celebrating their love with a beautiful rehearsal and dinner at Rustic Redbird Lodge. With perfect weather and delightful company, the evening was a wonderful tribute to their commitment. Tomorrow, they will embark on a new journey together as husband and wife, and soon, they will start exciting new jobs after returning from their dreamy honeymoon in England, building on the strong foundation they established graduating together from OSU just a month ago. To finish the summer off and enjoy the last of the hot weather this summer delivered we hosted our Community Class from Asbury Church! ✝️ Our pastor Andrew Forrest and his daughter Annie and wife Elaine were able to join us and entertained us with a few fun songs!

After our reunion out at Bixby I hosted our Will Rogers Alumni cheerleaders from the 1960’s through to the 90’s to practice and get ready for our part in the kick off assembly at school on Sept. 11
It was one of the hottest days of the summer but some how we made it through it!

Well it has been a busy summer for me at Rustic Redbird Lodge. My 55th class reunion started it all off May 31st and then my High School, Will Rogers, started the beginning of the planning of our 85th Anniversary at Will Rogers.
I jumped into help with several different things and it took up my extra time so I chose to not open the Lodge for the rest of the year so I could decide how I wanted to do life. So far so good! Rustic RedBird is a great meeting place and event center and I have enjoyed hosting several meetings, alumni cheer practices, and even our community class party from church! Life is good and I am enjoying being a part of the events that I get to host!

with a great group of people. Thanks to all who came out to help set up for Fridays event. more pictures to come this weekend here at Rustic Red Lodge and Saturday at Stokleys❣️

Grad Party for these two beautiful Jenks Seniors (one of them being our granddaughter)! Best friends going out of state to college next fall in two different directions. We wish you both the best and hope we see you when you are back in T Town in the future to hear about your journey!!

No egg hunt this year with family at the Lodge. Hard to believe our grandkids are all becoming grown ups.

Easter is just around the corner at Rustic RedBird Lodge and I wanted to reach out to everyone to wish you well and praying you have a Blessed Easter! We also wanted to let everyone know we are not open for business in the Lodge for over night stays or gatherings but for the rest of the year could accommodate parties in and around the barn area for friends and family. We have had an amazing 23 years with our venue and appreciate everyone that has come to stay, party and play! Happy Easter!!

I was privileged to be able to go to the Premier of the new movie “Holy Flicks”! A good part of the movie was filmed out at Rustic RedBird Lodge and if you have ever stayed here you will get a kick out of all of the scenes
on the property that will bring back memories for you! The producer of this movie is my Neighbor Stevie Fernandez and as usual he has a small part in every movie he produces so far. He is a little hard to recognize in this movie as the ghost pirate but Never the less I knew it was him. This is the 2nd movie that he has used our venue for some scenes but this one actually used four of our buildings and several outdoor senes as well. Even the neighbors got their pecan farm and a another one’s house was in a background scene. Loved the Christian based movie and hope it will soon become available for all to see!

The beautiful fall weather has come and I am afraid is gone already. 😩
We sure enjoyed it while it lasted. Had our family Thanksgiving at Rustic RedBird Lodge this year and it was a perfect day with a delicious meal! We are truly Blessed❣️
