An exquisite ending to Lily’s 11th birthday!

Feels great to have pastures the horses graze on baled for winter hay. This is first of two cut/bale. We rotate horses between two pastures, leaving one for harvest.

Finally getting to the long overdo job of clearing the west pasture fenceline. The east is done! Having horses mean so much more than hanging out with them, but it’s well worth the effort.
BixRo Ranch Rescue is dedicated to supporting individuals with unique needs while saving horses from slaughter. BixRo is an Oklahoma based LLC in process of securing its charitable designation from the IRS.
We are eager to meet the special social challenges of returning veterans, kids with autism, and adults with closed head injuries in an emotionally and physically safe space, while rescuing and using horses saved from slaughter as their touchstone.
