When you’re a mom with goals…things are a little bit harder, but it’s the kind of hard I prefer over growing old with regret that I didn’t take care of my body to keep up with my children well into old age. 💥

Today is the youngest you’ll ever be. And a little bit adds up every day. Read that again.

🗣️ In the world of health and fitness, women are over-marketed to and *desperately* under-served. 🗣️

Over-marketed = blasted with info about:

🤦🏼‍♀️ detox teas
🤦🏼‍♀️ waist trainers
🤦🏼‍♀️ fat burners
🤦🏼‍♀️ skinny teas

Under-served = minimal education about:

➡️ menopause
➡️ menstrual cycles
➡️ pelvic health
➡️ PCOS
➡️ endometriosis
➡️ disordered eating
➡️ body image struggles
➡️ and much more

Women deserve better. 💙

If you agree, gimme a 🙌🏻 below — and make sure you're following me on here because on this page we're about the research-backed education, not the nonsense.

When I started strength training in 2010, it was right after a bad breakup.
Strength training built confidence from the inside out, and it’s one of the reasons I love it so much. It was and is something I have complete control over. Lifting weights changed my body composition, but more importantly it changed my mind. I began to realize I’m capable of so much - and no one can take that away from me.

Fitness became my outlet in more ways than one. I wish all women would start lifting weights because the confidence and strength (mental and physical) it builds can’t be replicated. After not ever feeling “good enough” in that bad relationship, I rebuilt my self-worth in the weight room. Every new PR and hard workout left me feeling incredibly accomplished - “I did that!” And I thought to myself, I don’t need anyone because I have me and my fitness. I became my own best friend and company.

To this day strength training and hard workouts make me feel like me & I will get back to training others (women, mostly) because I like to help them feel as good as I feel.

Happy international women’s day!💕🩷
