UAB Pre-Optometry Club

At 12pm, UAB MAPS will be hosting an OD student over zoom, message for the zoom link.
At 5pm, UAB Pre-Opt Club will be hosting OD-2 students at the Student Hill Center rm 203 for our favorite equipment meeting! Bring your One Card and (Covid) Passport for entry, or catch us on Zoom or Instagram Live. Zoom link is available in engage, and don’t forget to rsvp (on engage)!!

Our October meeting will be held this Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30pm via Zoom!!
We will be joined by Dr. Allie McKelvey, a pediatric optometrist who works alongside ophthalmologists. She is a UABSO grad, so make plans to attend to hear about her experiences!!

Our September meeting will be held this coming Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30 p.m. This (Zoom) meeting is titled “What is Optometry,” and is designed to answer any questions you have about optometry school, the application process, or the career in general.
Dr. Simon from UABSO will be joining us so please make plans to attend!

Don’t forget about our January Meeting in the Spencer Honor House. We will have a great presentation from UABSO Alum, Dr. Fisk about the ingredients for a good optometry student. We can’t wait to see you all in a week!

Don't forget about our December Meeting tomorrow night at 6pm in the Education Building Room 230! We will have a chocolate bar and other food as well. We hope to see you all there at our final meeting of the semester!

We had so much fun at our cow eye dissection at UABSO earlier this month!

This Thursday at 6pm, we are having our second meeting of the month. Our speaker is a representative from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City! Pizza will be provided.
