A blast from my beginner decorating past! It's Monday, which means it's time for a motivational boost! Reflecting on this old project reminds me that perseverance pays off, even when I felt uncertain.
This client appreciated my help so much, she returned and worked with me again when she moved to a new home. Moral of this story: even when you don’t think you have what it takes, with the knowledge and skillset you already have can help someone beyond what you may think!
So don’t stop! Keep improving and keep moving forward!

When it’s cold outside…
I can’t take credit for finding these beautiful chairs because my client did the leg work herself. All I had to do was point her in the right direction!

Who's loving the Sherwin-Williams 2024 color of the year? 🙋🏽‍♀️Paint Upward (SW6239) offers a cool and airy vibe that could definitely make you feel like you're at the beach, lake, or anywhere that is soft and serene.🌿
Me...I'm more of a warm and cozy gal when it comes to my walls at home. While I think this is a great color for a light and airy room, I would probably be more likely to use it in a powder room than a large area in my home.

Ahhh, I never can get enough of a good BEFORE & AFTER! With this project, we helped our client to see that we could brighten the room without changing the paint color or large furniture. She didn’t want an extensive, time consuming remodel so we opted in for a brightening “room-lift” because she felt it was too dark and gloomy.
We want to thank our friends for this eye-catching art piece that made a huge difference in the space and really help bring the dramatic feel we wanted. Along with layering our hide on top of a new natural woven rug, the patterned metallic pillows give this area a whole new definition of pop!

Help pulling it all together with fabrics and patterns is something I LOVE to do!
We built on the pebbled colorful pattern as the foundation of our scheme 😊 then we added the canary yellow stripe, cinnamon velvet, and earthy leather. Let’s not forget the details of the natural nailhead and wooden leg finish!
