A- win a marathon 😎✔️
B- run under 2:45 with little to no specific training 😎✔️

Stephen Gomez-Peck needed a soft qualifying effort for an April race so he ran a solo 2:43:26 out at Black Creek Park, Fultondale, Alabama where we train most every Saturday morning.

Place Sports puts on a great Marathon (Ethan Mines, Joshua Evans, Rice) and Half Marathon (Stephen Gomez-Peck)

A PR, a 2nd place finish, a 3rd place finish, and a hang on to the end. Good Run guys! Rest up, you have earned it.

Congratulations to Ethan Strand on his NCAA 3,000i record today at 7:30.15 nudging teammate Parker Wolfe at the line! We got to watch Ethan growing up and sometimes now I’m the summer out on the Black Creek Park, Fultondale, Alabama trail.

PEAK WEEK started with a bang! A lot of race miles on the schedule over the next 8 days.

JEvans won Jingle Bell 5k in Homewood while in Tuscaloosa Amanda and Stephen won W & M at the Rudolph Run 8k. Ready for Jacksonville Marathon and Half next week. But first… (check back tomorrow for an update on the CIM marathon).
