We truly appreciate you all for thinking of First Light and taking the time to prepare and share a great meal with us! 💚

We are incredibly grateful for our friends at Southminster Presbyterian Church - USA!

After spending the past year taking a deeper look at homelessness and thoughtfully considering where they could make the greatest impact, Southminster made an extraordinarily generous gift to help provide beds for First Light guests as they transition out of shelter and into their own homes.

And their generosity does not stop with the gift. They have also offered to be part of the process by providing hands on assistance to help get these beds into the homes of those who need them most.

A bed may seem simple, but for someone starting over, having a comfortable place to sleep in a new home means so much. Because of Southminster’s generosity, we will be able to provide that comfort to so many who need it most.

Thank you, Southminster Presbyterian Church, for taking the time to learn, listen, and then respond in such a BIG way. We are beyond grateful for your incredible generosity and your heart for our neighbors!

Sometimes it is the simple things that make a place truly feel like home. We love knowing these pieces will get to be part of so many new beginnings.
