FRED Communication by Design

Working alongside our Design Director Michael Vizzina designed the branding for the new The Star development that will be located in North Birmingham.

Inspired by the infamous star atop the Carraway Hospital, Michael Vizzina said, "The name speaks of a bright destination and the logo depicts connection...With this design, I suggest the recognizable silhouettes of Birmingham’s prominent buildings. The star integrates with the skyline using a single continuous line to imply the neighborhood’s cultural connectivity. Like most celestial bodies, The Star is best seen as a beacon in the night sky."

A lot of behind-the-scene love♥️ went into creating the 2021 Holiday Gift Guide — Before we even began the design process, our team spent time coordinating with Pepper Place retailers to ensure we selected the most special, unique local gifts to feature.
