Do you have neck pain? Here are some quick tips to prevent neck pain or the pain from getting worse:

➡️ Use good posture. When you’re on your devices, try and keep your head up straight instead of bending down.
➡️ If you work long hours at a computer be sure to get up, and stretch your neck and shoulders.
➡️ Sleep in a healthy position. Your head and neck should be aligned with your body. Try sleeping on your back, elevating your thighs with pillows, so your spine will flatten.

All of these muscles are primary movers and move the hip forward, back, outside, and rotate both in and out.

So what do you do with all of this information? I've included a few exercises that help initiate strengthening and flexibility.

As a runner one of the worst feelings is sustaining an injury while training for a race. One common strategy that runners use when dealing with injuries is rest and relaxation, but perhaps you should try strength and stability.

If you are a runner suffering from an injury, then you should consider seeing a physical therapist. Your therapist can advise you on the appropriate cross-training strategies based on your needs and goals. If you are not currently injured, consider implementing some S&S training to prevent future injury.
