Park closed by rockslide set to reopen Friday After being closed for more than two months, the Billings Parks and Recreation Department said Phipps Park is scheduled to reopen this week.

As news articles and rumors surrounding the Diamond X disc golf course are floating around we would like to clear things up. Due to the recent rock slide, engineer reports, and insurance issues, the Green front nine will be a thing of history. It's a sad time for Montana disc golf and players around the world. Holes 8-9 of the Red front nine will also need to be relocated as they fall in what I like to call the death zone. Work will begin on redesigning and hopefully installing nine more holes to keep a full 36 hole course at Phipps Park.

Due to the rockfall at Phipps Park, Diamond X Disc Golf Course is closed indefinitely. The city must assess the damage and the possibility of any future threat. Check back. We will have updates as soon as we receive any news.
