The celebration continues all week long with returning customer favorites. Today we are bringing back our most popular Tres Leches to date…the Horchate Tres Leches uses our spice cake and dips it in 3 milks…one of which is horchata! We fill the slices with buttercream, add some crushed Cinnas cookies and top with caramel sauce and a dusting of cinnamon sugar! This one is a personal favorite but we’ve had so many requests for it to come back. Here’s your chance. Oh…we also have Millionaire Pie and Coconut Cream Pie today too! 🤩 Lemon Blueberry cake cups are coming later today.🥳

Sweet Katees Bakery in Big Spring is ONE year old today! We are celebrating all week long by bringing back a few of your favorites from this past year…read below for details.
We would LOVE for all of Big Spring to come and celebrate with us from 4pm-8pm TODAY! We will have FREE birthday cake (while supplies last), a signature Sweet Katees dirty soda available for sale at our favorite friends Sip & Sparkle, all our treats available for sale during the entire extended hours time…and a few BIG surprises. We just want to visit with the community and get a chance to say thanks you so please bring the family or a friend and come on down!

This Week’s Specialty Cupcake Flavors:
🍓🍌Strawberry Banana-Vanilla cake filled with banana pudding, topped with vanilla buttercream and chopped up fresh strawberries.
☕️🍫Caramel Mocha-chocolate cake filled with caramel dulce de leche, topped with chocolate buttercream, coffee dust and chocolate covered espresso beans.
RETURNING FAVORITES-while supplies last
✨Dubai Brownie! We launched these back in August when we extended our hours and again during “Battle of the Butters” month and it was a HUGE hit both times. Get this extra special treat again while you can. Our fudgy brownie topped with a toasted kataifi and pistachio cream mixture (Dubai), dark chocolate ganache and pistachio cream drizzle.
✨Banana Pudding Cookie-a classic that reminds us of summertime and home…but in a delicious cookie form! This cookie was a special not too long ago BUT we sold out so quickly of sooo many that we had to bring it back. A banana cookie topped with banana whipped cream and a crushed Nilla wafer and banana chip topping.
✨Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip cookie-This was a staple cookie flavor when we first opened and retired when the new year hit. So many of you have been asking for it to return. Here’s your chance to stock up! A decadent chocolate flavor paired with our Red Velvet emulsion makes this cookie so special. If you haven’t tried it, this is a must have!

When you’re done at the Rodeo Parade this morning, be sure to swing by Sweet Katees for breakfast! We have the very best cinnamon rolls (large enough to fill a belly or to share!) and even a special Peach Cobbler version. We also have our Meltzzie Bars…our wonderful bread dough with meat and cheese baked inside and topped with a butter parmesan spread. You would love our Cinna-Dog! It’s our version of a kolache….a beef frank with a cinnamon roll wrapped around it. And to be fair…a cupcake is basically like a donut only better because it’s baked instead of deep fried! 🤔
We do have a few of our Cherry Cobbler left in the grab and go cooler so come and get you some while you can.
Sweet Katees is located in the corner of E 3rd and Goliad…look for the giant pink “Cupcake” flag! We are open 9am to 2pm today and from 7am to 6pm Tuesday through Friday (closed Sunday and Monday).

Next week is Sweet Katees Bakery ONE YEAR birthday…of our brick and mortar location in Big Spring Texas! We are ready to celebrate with the community who has been so kind to adopt us and love us. So here is your official invitation and we hope you all can stop by! And be sure to come HUNGRY! Of course we will have our standard line up for this occasion but all week long we will have some “fan favorites” from this past year!

Whew! What a storm that was! If this weather doesn’t have you craving something yummy…then just come on in and SMELL what we’re baking! Batches of cinnamon rolls and cupcakes are rotating through today. You can sit in our large, comfortable dining room while you enjoy a peach cobbler cinnamon roll and the fantastic aroma. Better yet, grab some goodies to share with a friend, coworker or family. 🥳

Helllloooo Tuesday! Whew! I’ve been trying to make our flavor post all day but y’all got me running!! Now that I’ve gotten a moment, I can tell you all about our Specialty Cupcake flavors for the week, our Cinnamon Roll flavor of the month and allllll the other fun stuff to look forward to!
Cinnamon Roll Flavor of the Month:
🍑Peach Cobbler! Our Jumbo Cinnamon Roll is topped with a cinnamon peach pie filling and a cinnamon oatmeal streusel topping. The last time we did this flavor was June last year but this time we’ve elevated the ingredients and made it even better!
PS…you can STILL always DIY your cinnamon roll with toppings to make it whatever flavor you want🙌
Cupcake Flavors of the Week:
🍫🔥S’mores! Chocolate cake topped with chocolate buttercream with a border of graham cracker, toasted marshmallows and a couple Hershey chocolate squares.
🧁Italian Cream Cake! This classic is a favorite around here. Vanilla cake with pecans and coconut baked in, topped with cream cheese buttercream and toasted pecan and coconut.
Next week is the ONE YEAR anniversary of our bakery in Big Spring! We are planning a big celebration with lots of returning favorites all week long. Watch for posts and your special invitation!

Well….school is out for the summer and it’s all rainy and gloomy today (and I’m over it!) so we have a little something summery and a little something warm and homey…because if Texas weather can be pi-polar, so can our Sweet Katees treats! 🥴
