We’re kicking off “Dolly Day” early with some Dolly Parton inspired treats!

We know it’s Pie Day here but it just so happens Ms Dolly’s favorite dessert was Banana Cream Pie (if she couldn’t get her hands on banana puddin’)! So today we have Coconut Cream Pie and Banana Cream Pie. Whole pie-$20 Slices-$4 ea.

If you’ve ever seen the movie Steel Magnolias you certainly remember the hair salon scene where Dolly give the recipe for “a cup, a cup, a cup” cake. Well, we’ve got some for you and we added a scoop of whipped cream…to “cut down the sweetness”. $5 ea

At Dollywood (the Dolly Parton amusement park in Tennessee) they have a MUST HAVE treat…a loaf of Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread! Well y’all! I followed her recipe and whipped you up some…and you don’t have to travel to Tennessee to get it! $12/loaf Extra icing $1

Happy Tuesday!! Boy do we have a LOT going on this week! So let’s get right to it…

DOLLY DAY! The official (unofficial) Dolly Day is 9-25 and we want you to be prepared to celebrate this legend…so we are offering special treats on BOTH 9/24 and 9/25! We will have Dollywood favorites, movie nods and lots of pink and glitter so be prepared for that!

It’s Homecoming week for BSHS!! We are running a fundraiser all football season where we donate $1 for every Big Spring Sandwich sold to the BSHS Football Boosters. During this week, we are donating $1 for EVERY sandwich sold! Help do your part by making Sweet Katees your lunch spot all week long! AND to sweeten the deal, we have TWO special sandwiches this week! The Chicken Salad Panini continues AND we are bringing back your favorite, “The Italian” for this week as well!

Our soup is very popular so we decided to try a schedule for the soup…so you know exactly which day to plan for. We’ll see how this goes…see schedule below.

I know just about every person in Howard County is planning on attending the Fair. Be sure and check out Howard County Fair for the schedule of events and all the exciting things to plan on seeing and doing. It’s sure to be the best one yet!
Now we may not have the carnival rides or fair food but Sweet Katees definitely has that “go big or go home” spirit! We hope you enjoy the Fair and if you find yourselves in need of something you didn’t find at the fair, stop by and see us! We have a few Millionaire Pies left, our NEW Cinnamon Roll Cookie and some really delicious panini sandwiches for lunch. On Saturday’s it’s breakfast all day! Woo-hoo! While small businesses stay open during Fair time, don’t forget to show them a little love too, if you are able.

I think it’s official! Fall is in the air! It just has felt a little more like it the last few days so I’m calling it! Happy Fall Y’all!!!
This week has some TOTALLY new cupcake flavors, Millionaires pies on Thursday and HOPEFULLY a new cookie flavor (at least one!)!!
