My word last year was comeback, because that was my plan after a very rocky 2023… 2024 was not much better. But that is ok and let me tell you why..

I can watch Jimmy V’s (boy could that man coach!!) speech about his battle with cancer and I will cry every time… the movie Rudy also makes me cry(my husband throws Puffs at me).

Jimmy said never give up, don’t ever give up. He lost the battle but he fought with so much tenacity! Dan (Rudy) Ruettiger also had a lot of tenacity… I mean, come on man, he applied to Notre Dame every semester after he started at Holy Cross until he was finally accepted(cue the tears)….who does that? Someone who never gives up, don’t ever give up!!

I never did and I never will!! Tenacity…. That is my word this year….
