New Hope Christian Academy

Thank you so much to Happy Day Humane Society for letting us come to learn about animal rescue and pet care! We had such a good time!

Four New Hope Christian Academy students traveled to UTPB in Odessa today to compete in the Permian Basin Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Three of our students placed in their divisions.

The awards are as follows:
Bryan Hamblin, 3rd place, 6th grade Physics division;
Kymber Hamblin, 2nd Place, 3rd grade Life Sciences division;
Jaxon Weldon, 2nd Place, 3rd Grade Chemistry division.

Congratulations to all four students for their hard work and courage in competition!

No School Wednesday, January 28th due to road conditions.

NHCA will also be closed on Tuesday, January 27th due to dangerous road conditions.

New Hope Christian Academy 4th grade student Nathan Avila participated in a conservation poster contest hosted by the Howard Soil and Water Conservation District (HSWCD). The theme was "Soil: Where it All Begins." He won a first place ribbon and prize!

Great job Nathan!

From now until July, NHCA will be sharing an interesting "On This Day in 1776" historical fact leading up to the 250th anniversary of our United States on July 4th.
