Due to the heavy snowfall we have experienced this winter, our cemeteries are currently closed to visitors, except for families attending active burials.

Our grounds crew is working carefully and diligently to clear the snow so that the grounds can be safely reopened. We understand how important it is to visit loved ones, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make the cemeteries safe for everyone.

Thank you for your kindness and cooperation.

Our Cemetery offices are open; however, we strongly advise you to postpone any visits to our mausoleums or gravesites for the next couple days due to icing on cemetery roads and walkways as well as frigid temperatures.

Our groundskeepers are diligently out working to salt and make our cemetery roads and sidewalks safe for visitors, but this will take time.

If you must leave home today, please be cautious as most of our region is experiencing low temperatures and icy conditions.

Be cautious and safe!

We would like to thank the students of Bishop Fenwick High School and the community volunteers that made this year's wreath-laying ceremony a success!

The Catholic Cemetery Association will be hosting students from Bishop Fenwick High School as they participate in a “Wreaths Across America” tribute within the Veterans Section of our St. Mary Cemetery, Salem, MA this Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 12 PM.

We encourage all who are interested in volunteering to join us, rain or shine, for a brief, reflective ceremony followed by the playing of Taps and the laying of wreaths upon a hero’s grave.

For any questions or inquiries, please contact James Brasco at 339-226-1271.
