ArtsFest is going low waste this year! 🎨♻️ Green Beverly is teaming up with Beverly Main Streets to keep recycling and compostables out of the trash on Saturday, 6/20 from 10am to 5pm.

Look for our two waste stations: one in the Food Court and one at the corner of Hale Street & Cabot. Drop your recyclables and compostables with us, then subscribe to our newsletter while you’re there for a chance to win $200 toward your 2026 trash bill! 🗑️💸 (Beverly residents only)

See you on Cabot Street! 🌿

Join us Sunday, June 21 from 1 to 3 PM at beantrust coffeebar for our monthly meetup, where Coach Linzy Bailey is breaking down the Bokashi method and how it turns pet waste into garden gold.

Bonus: this same trick works on kitchen scraps too, so you’ll leave with double the sustainable habits. Bring your dog, bring your friends and family, bring your curiosity. 🌱♻️

📣Arts Fest is coming to downtown Beverly on Saturday, June 20, and Green Beverly wants to help make it our greenest year yet! We’re looking for volunteers to staff waste stations, help festivalgoers sort their recycling, compost, and trash, and answer questions about sustainability. 💙💚

Shifts are just 2 hours, running from 12 to 5pm. It’s a great way to meet neighbors, support a beloved community event, and cut down on waste. ♻️

Did you know the Beverly Improvement Society has been beautifying our city since 1888? This incredible group of volunteers is responsible for planting the annual beds at Lynch Park’s Rose Garden 🌹

Recently, Xerces Ambassador Kate Parsons and Green Beverly joined their meeting at the Carriage House at Lynch Park to talk pollinators and native species — and it was a lively discussion! 🐝🌿

We love connecting with the community stewards who make Beverly bloom. Stay tuned for more on what we’re growing together. 💚💙

Plastic foam can't go in your curbside recycle bin.

Recycling foam at this event is a great alternative to trash/incineration! 💙💚🌱

Salem and Beverly are partnering once again to host Styrofoam Collection Day on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

Hold on to your Styrofoam – Casella (formerly Save That Stuff) will collect it to recycle! This will be a drive-through event June 20 at the Community Life Center, 401 Bridge St, Salem, MA. Residents of Salem and Beverly may participate.

Please bring only rigid white expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam). NO squishy foam, packaging peanuts or food service containers, such as meat trays, clamshells, or Styrofoam cups can be accepted. At this event, we will also collect broken string lights and extension cords for recycling.

While Styrofoam cannot be recycled curbside, Casella has densifiers that can process the material for recycling. We’re excited to offer residents a way to sustainably dispose of their Styrofoam!
Please stay in your vehicle the whole time and have items ready to unload in your trunk, truck bed, or hatchback.
