The local Essex County Single Family market is taking its cue from the Kentucky Derby because "it's off to the races" to keep an eye on how things are jockeying!
There are nearly 500 more homes actively on the market now, compared to same time last year. Despite this inventory increase, a counterpoint is 1051 fewer homes have sold year-to-date. This can be attributed, in part, to our brutal winter season, consumer hesitancy about geo-political and economic conditions, fluctuating mortgage interest rates.
Bottom line...locally we have a STRONG Seller's market and it's a GREAT time to sell!
