For the past several years, I’ve donated an evening to Night to Shine hosted by the Tim Tebow Foundation. (I had to look back to confirm, but I started in 2019… So yes! This was year eight!)

Night to Shine is a worldwide prom experience for individuals with special needs. Hundreds of churches across all 50 states and dozens of countries participate. Every honored guest is crowned as prom king or queen… and the evening includes a red carpet entrance, cheering crowd, dance floor, limo rides… It is joy on a global scale!

For this event, I provide portrait photography for each honored guest. The empty chair you see was ready and waiting. You’ll also see me in front of the camera because I wanted to capture a personal memory of something that means so much to me. And then there’s the gym. Transformed into a prom venue that could rival any corporate gala. The decorations, energy, detail, details, and care that goes into it is incredible.

I’m intentionally not sharing photos from during the prom itself. Protecting the privacy of guest matters deeply to me. This night belongs to them.

Eight years in, and it remains one of the most meaningful evenings on my calendar. I’m grateful to use my photography skills in a way that celebrates others and captures moments that people will treasure .



❄️ 📸 Massachusetts decided to give us real winter this year! Can we still update your head shots outside? Yes, we can!

Outdoor winter sessions actually offer some incredible advantages:
- snow acts like a natural reflector
- locations are quieter
- the look is clean, bright, and distinctively New England

Professional doesn’t have to mean indoors. And it definitely doesn’t have to mean waiting until May. If you’ve been putting off your heads shots because of the season, consider this proof that winter works… Beautifully! 

🌊 These long-exposure images capture what remains of a once busy pier. Time has stripped it down to its bones… But somehow, it feels even more lovely. A quiet reminder that aging doesn’t always mean fading… Sometimes it means becoming something softer and even more beautiful.
