Chief Deputy Christopher Rosier and Lieutenant Stephen Kudron recently attended the 7th Annual Co‑Responders Conference in Dallas, Texas, hosted by the International Co‑Responder Alliance and PARRI.

They presented alongside Sean Varano of CIMS on how real‑time overdose tracking is making a positive impact in the Charleston area. The conference brought together professionals from across the country to share best practices and advance innovative approaches to substance use, overdoses, and mental health response.

Through collaboration and specialized training, Chief Rosier and Lieutenant Kudron gained valuable insights to further strengthen non‑arrest deflection programs, expand community partnerships, and enhance the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to compassionate, community‑focused public safety.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2026 National Law Enforcement Summit! We are beyond grateful to all the speakers, guests, and partners who were able to make this conference one we will never forget.

To our speakers, thank you for being willing to share your knowledge and experience with everyone. The work you do never goes unnoticed by us, and we are honored to be able to highlight that work for others to learn from.

To our partners new and old, thank you for continuing to uplift our work together and for trusting us to help guide your programs through all their stages. The work you do everyday continues to shape PAARI in new and exciting ways.

To everyone who attended, we hope you had a wonderful time filled with new connections, strengthened relationships, and knowledge you can bring back to your communities.

We are excited to continue to build on the experience, compassion, and understanding that we shared last week.
