As the flowers begin to wilt and fade…my heart always gets a bit…I’m not quite sure. This time they are my mum’s flowers from her beautiful celebration of her life. This felt even a bit more…. But I leaned into what I love most…creating. And I set out to preserve some of the flowers through cyanotype prints and one of my favorites…a mandala. The quiet of this morning, under a sunny sky, present with my mum. Feeling the joy the flowers given so freely, their last act before they become part of the earth again. I am healing. I can feel it. 🩷 #griefhealing #flowerart #flowermandala 07/13/2026
