Late Post: Thursday….. I had the joy of seeing the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater again—and as always, they did not disappoint. But this performance felt especially meaningful. Watching Revelations was powerful and deeply moving, and the adaptations woven into the other pieces were absolutely phenomenal.

I’ve seen them over the years, and each experience feels fresh, inspiring, and unforgettable. Truly grateful for an evening filled with beauty, history, and artistry. 💫🖤✨💃🏽🩰

Last year around this time, I had just returned from the Mosaic Art Awards in London, still soaking in the beauty of being surrounded by artists and creativity from around the world. That experience reminded me just how powerful art truly is.

Art tells our stories. It preserves culture, challenges perspectives, and brings healing and inspiration to our communities. I’m deeply appreciative of my own creative journey and the role art continues to play in my life.

Artists help shape the soul of society. Our vision, courage, and dedication deserve to be celebrated and supported—not just occasionally, but always.

Here’s to continuing to uplift and honor artists who make our world more meaningful and beautiful. 🎨✨

A couple of years ago, I had the honor of visiting the MLK Memorial. My colleagues and I were given a personal tour by the monument’s director. The experience was deeply moving and something I will carry with me always. Standing in that sacred space felt like a call to examine my own faith and how I live it each day.

On this MLK Day, I am reflecting on the responsibility we each carry to love as an action, to serve with courage, and to stand for justice even when it stretches us. Dr. King’s legacy reminds us that faith must be lived, not just spoken, and that hope is something we are called to practice through our choices, our voices, and our care for one another.

Today, I celebrate me — 55 years around the sun. 🌍✨ And yes, I will keep celebrating all month because turning 55 is a powerful accomplishment. It’s not just a milestone, but a reflection of deep growth, hard-earned wisdom, and the strength to keep moving forward.

This past year brought both joy and sorrow… breakthroughs and breakdowns… lessons I didn’t ask for but needed. And through it all, I’ve kept praying, kept showing up, and kept evolving.

I’m grateful for life itself — for each breath, for every moment of clarity, for every cause made toward becoming my highest self. The universe continues to guide, challenge, and uplift me — and I welcome it all with open arms.

When I visited the Antelope Canyon I saw nature’s poetry in stone! Sculpted over centuries by water and wind, glowing with the fire of the desert sun.

Standing inside its walls as the light shifts and fades is a reminder that even in silence, the earth speaks. And in every sunset, there’s an invitation to slow down, reflect, and return to self.

Late Post: Embarking on a journey with my company to the happiest place on Earth, was a dream come true, and every moment was pure magic!!! 🌈 🎉🎊🥳🎆 I had an incredible time connecting with Mikey, Minnie & friends, and it was a powerful reminder of the joy that happens when we come together!!!

It is with great pleasure that I announce I am a Mosaic Art Award winner! I am currently in London, exhibiting my work at the Gathering gallery, alongside nine fellow artists. My piece, ‘My Prayers Were Answered,’ will be on display until Friday. Throughout my career, my passion has been to capture the world’s beauty through my lens, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my work globally!! This is truly a dream come true!

On this Thanksgiving day, I’m overflowing with gratitude for my mother, whose birthday we’re also celebrating today!! As I reflect on the past year, I’m reminded of the transformative power of family and the invaluable lessons my mother has taught me, and I feel profoundly fortunate and blessed to have her in my life.
