Miller-Keystone Blood Center is proud to recognize Walter G., a U.S. Army Veteran, Vietnam Veteran, member of the Berks County Military Hall of Fame, and President of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 131.

Walter dedicated his life to serving our nation, and today he continues that commitment by donating blood to help save lives throughout our community.

Every blood donation is another act of service: one that provides hope, healing, and second chances to patients in need.

On May 28, Miller-Keystone Blood Center proudly celebrated the launch of our newest bloodmobiles, Bloodhound II and Bloodhound III, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Named in honor of our beloved mascot, Half-Pint the Bloodhound, these state-of-the-art vehicles represent much more than an expansion of our fleet. They symbolize the power of partnership, collaboration, and a shared commitment to saving lives across our community.

Made possible through significant grant support from County Of Lehigh and County of Northampton, Bloodhound II and Bloodhound III will help us reach more donors, support local hospitals, and ensure patients throughout our region have access to the lifesaving blood products they need.
