I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate Bella and Jay on their high school graduation this weekend! They are both such important parts of the restaurant and everything they do to make sure the restaurant runs smoothly can't be understated. We're so lucky to have them as part of the T.O.F family and can't wait to see what the future holds for them! 🎓🎓🎊

Omakase dinner #7 is in the books! Thank you to everyone who came out last night and packed the place for both seatings. Also my amazing staff for working so hard to make this possible! This may have been my favorite menu yet and you guys seemed to love it too. Now it's on to planning #8 in August!

On to dinner number 7! We're starting to take reservations for our 7th tasting dinner - a spring time menu, May 30th. We'll be doing the usual two seatings at 5 and 730 for 75 per person. Message us on the socials or call the restaurant for more details and to reserve your spot!

It's that time of year! Our friends at McCalls dropped their rice lager and we have it here for you to try. It's an annual fav of our customers and if u haven't tried it stop in for a sample or hit one of McCalls locations and pick some up!

It's your favorite dip and ours... and now it's our new Inari special. Buffalo Chix Dip Inari starts this week! Chicken katsu, blue cheese and tobanjan sauce, pickled celery, topped with togarashi. Happiness comes in two bites. See you soon!

17 years ago today I bought The Other Fish. I was 25 years old and had no idea what I was doing, I still sometimes wonder if I even do now. But what I did know is this place is special and I couldn't let that go.

I took this picture at the end of the night this past Saturday. This is one of my favorite parts of the restaurant. The end of the night, when everyone is gone and the place has gone quiet. When I can take a minute to reflect on the day, the people we've served, and the work we've done and I can say "yea, we did good".

Thank you all for that. Without our customers I couldn't have this. My staff, my family, our amazing friends and customers, you are all the reason I've been able to call myself an owner for so long. I never know how many of these nights I have left and I try to be grateful for each one.

Another year is behind us and it's another year of us being so lucky to have him! Another year of amazing ideas and tastes that became specials for you all to enjoy. Another year of ideas and his artistic eye that became our beautiful makeover in the restaurant. Another year of getting to work with one of our very best friends. We never take it for granted. He's off tonight but stop in this week to say happy birthday or show him some love below!
