Had the pleasure of doing this bad boy all in one session just a few weeks ago. About 7 - 71/2 hr session all in one day.

One session pieces like this are so much better to do because all the saturation is even and the colors blend so much better and make for better healing as well are more cost effective.

Splitting things up into multiple appointments is ok as well but it does pose the situation of multiple setups as well as longer duration of getting a finished product.

Both ways are absolutely fine to approach and plan for, however I do believe getting a big chunk done on super large pieces like sleeves and back pieces or sitting for large pieces all in one session is way easier and more cost effective.

Does it hurt more???
Can it be a little more sensitive???
Yes of course but with a finished product like this
I do believe it’s WORTH IT!!!

Pumpkin head tattooed by Shaun “the Tank” Washburn.

A fellow artist at the convention “Mark” gave Shaun this name when he saw how hard Shaun was working at the Expo.

Shaun worked from the time the Expo opened until the very end of the night each day. Putting in a massive 35 hrs of work in total in those 3 days. Actual tattoo time including set up and clean up was 30 1/2 hrs.

This Pumpkin head tattooed is a reflection of the dedication and discipline Shaun puts into his tattoos and business.
