What’s not to love about Peperomia plants?! They are pet-friendly, come in all sorts of varieties, and each one looks entirely different from one another. It’s not hard to see why they’re so easy to collect! 🪴
A few tips for growing Peperomias:
• Don’t water them too often! Let the soil dry out at least 25%-50% before watering.
• They prefer bright light and high humidity. If you’ve struggled with growing Peperomia before, increase the light — that’s the best tip we can give you!
• Sometimes, it’s best to just let your Peperomias be. Varieties like the Ripple and Watermelon Peperomias grow best when left in their plastic nursery planter, in their original growers mix. Happy planting!

Ah, prayer plants… Notorious for yellowing leaves, crispy edges, and pest problems. One day they are seemingly thriving and then the next, all the leaves are suddenly turning brown.
These plants require high humidity, distilled or rainwater, and dappled light in order to thrive indoors. They will often thrive in the summer months, then pull a 180 on you as soon as the heater kicks on in the fall and dries out the air…
We like to think of them as the “bouquet of flowers” of the houseplant world — buy them, enjoy them for a while, and then move on to the next. Once you accept this, you can officially love the prayer plant.
