I’m about to blow your mind: Thrifting can be wasteful. Because prices are discounted it’s easy to go overboard leading to overconsuming or overspending. I did this my first few times thrifting. It’s so easy to just see the price tag and run, but here are some tips to help you next time your sourcing…

1. Try to find items you could pair with multiple things in your closet vs. an item for just one occasion

2. Ask yourself if you’re truly in love with it. If you put it back and walked away, would you still be thinking about it an hour later?

3. Think about items you already have at home and be honest about what you have that is like the item you’re debating on. If you can’t think of anything, it’s a keeper.

4. Always remember, quality or quantity!
