Reverse osmosis drinking water filters can eliminate PFAS “permanent poisons” in breast milk. PFAS toxins have been linked to a host of cancers, and can cause the development of ADHD and childhood asthma.

Women will no longer be treated like second-class citizens in this country. We must ensure our governmental systems step up to support women’s autonomy over their bodies, universal childcare, and universal healthcare.

I am a life-long peace and justice activist running as a Green!

I call for shutting down the Chalk Point and Morgantown coal-fired stations in the 5th district. I'm opposed to Dominion Energy’s terminal at Cove Point and other projects in the 5th. I demand a cessation of weapons testing in the Potomac and an immediate cleanup of Superfund sites at the Indian Head Naval Warfare Center and Patuxent River Naval Air Station. I call for subjecting the military’s ongoing environmental degradation to state oversight.

I support Medicare for all, public financing of elections, free community college.

I support a living wage; strong measures to correct racial injustice; eliminating the Social Security taxable maximum of $128,400; I advocate for meaningful cuts in military spending and increasing the top tax for folks making more than $2 million to 50%. That’ll pay for everything..

I support non-violent, multilateral solutions to the problems facing our country. - Pat Elder

Voting green means voting for social justice, grassroots democracy, ecological wisdom, and more. The two party system in the US isn’t working. We need to vote parties in that will address systemic issues and bring much-needed change across our communities.

Climate change affects us all, and Maryland is no exception. According to Maryland.gov, in the future, it is expected that climate change will affect Maryland in a variety of ways. More obvious impacts could include an increased risk for extreme events such as drought, storms, flooding, and forest fires; more heat-related stress; the spread of existing or new vector-born disease; and increased erosion and inundation of low-lying areas along the State’s shoreline and coast. Reversing climate change is possible and necessary with reforestation, restoring the Chesapeake Bay, and phasing out toxic chemicals in agriculture starting now. Slowing future emissions isn't enough - we need a science-based drawdown and a transformation to carbon negative programs.

Nancy Wallace is running for governor of Maryland. She represents the Green Party in Maryland and has worked tirelessly to bring robust, scientifically-driven climate solutions to the public and bridge the gap between environmental progress and social justice. Her goal is to move Maryland immediately toward sustainable, renewable energy while ensuring marginalized populations obtain economic freedoms through robust policy ideas around free college education/debt forgiveness, housing rights, home ownership for all, and reparations.
