A warm, cozy cocktail room (previously known as the living room) is ready for guests this fall! Neutrals paired with warm brown tones defined the design vision. Welcome Home by White Horse Design.

In working inside the footprint of an existing kitchen renovation, we designed a free standing counter height table that served as an island prep, casual eating for the family and gathering spot for guests. There was no room for a breakfast table without giving up precious storage and cooking work space this family needed! We suggested moving the tradition breakfast room into the sunlit alcove of the family room just off the kitchen! We designed the perfect space for this busy family of 5 to enjoy meals, entertaining, a spot to do homework or enjoy family game night together!!! Looking back at a first floor renovation project with a relaxed sense of elegant design. We mixed new furniture pieces with vintage finds, along with a custom designed walnut coffee table and commissioned artwork, create a curated vision throughout their home. Built-ins flanking a fireplace are filled with artwork and memorabilia of past family vacations, while a painted modern take on a secretary in a soft blue paired with a vintage Baker chair invites you to sit down for a quiet moment.
