And if you showed this image to your young student of French, could they explain it? I love, love, love teaching this uniquely French vowel sound! Not too unlike learning a basketball layup or to make sound come out of a flute, making that Frenchie vowel sound does take some attentive practice. ;)

I would love to have a stack of cards of this image to pass along. And I would put something on the back about "regardless of the language of the book." Did you know, you can even make up a story to go along with the pictures.... like when you rent a vacation home in the Poconos and someone left behind a story in Hebrew about a lost dog!

Snow pushed us out of our storytime last week, but we are ON for this Wednesday at 10am at Easttown Library for FRENCH Storytime songs and colorful characters galore! My dog ChloƩ wishes she could join us. ;)
